A bad experience This hotel does not receive its guest very friendly. The atmosphere in the lobby is far from pleasant and the lobby is neither functional nor aesthetic. The room is what you would expect from a 3 star hotel, not a five star. When asking for China Daily I first did not get any, the day after I got one paper 14 days old. The food for breakfast should not be served in a 5 star hotel. The bacon was black and burned, the toaster did not work properly and the "juice" had hardly been in contact with any fruit. (I think the quality of the juice often separate good hotels from bad ones.) The buffet was nor very delicious, nothing special you expect from a hotel who wants to be five star ranked. The second (and last) day I had the buffet at the hotel there were nothing to drink except for the local beer. Some machine for water, sprite, cola etc had collapsed, and the hotel was not abel to bring even a bottle of water with for instance lemon. This hotel was a very sad experience, after traveling China for more than 7 years, and 99% of the time been treated very well and enjoyed hotels of all rankings.
